Book Review & Giveaway: Mommy Breastfeeds My Baby Brother

|

Although there are many wonderful breastfeeding resources and books out, I have yet to find one geared towards children. Mommy Breastfeeds My Baby Brother is a book which introduces and encourages both mothers and children on the natural and wonderful benefits of breastfeeding.

When I was pregnant with my now 8-month-old daughter, I used various books and videos to get my then 2-year-old daughter familiar with breastfeeding but unfortunately I wasn't able to find anything geared towards children. I really wish I had found this book sooner!

I have read Mommy Breastfeeds My Baby Brother a few times already and found the message and natural approach both simple and easy for children to grasp. I also found that it subtly encourages children who feel "left out" during the "new baby" phase.

I can understand why La Leche League gave this book a wonderful review and personally recommend this book as an addition to your child's library. This would be a wonderful gift for an the child of an expectant or breastfeeding mother!

Istoria House Publishing has been kind enough to offer 1 hardcover copy of Mommy Breastfeeds My Baby Brother to one of our readers.

I would love one of these books to read to my girls and my daycare kids. It's so important to have breastfeeding books in our children's libraries. Whether you breastfeed or not!

I would love to read this to my son because it seems like all our books that talk about babies show them with a bottle and he never see his baby getting a bottle.
