Milk Diaper Review and Giveaway!

|

My milk supply has always been over abundant and leaking isn't quite the word I would use when I have a let down! For this reason, Lansinoh disposable breast pads have always been my pad of choice for nursing. They are thin, yet absorb quite a bit. The downside is that of course they are disposable and can get pretty expensive, compared to other nursing pad brands. I have tried many re-usable breast pads, however they never absorb enough and are usually too bulky.

Recently I came across Milk Diapers (isn't it a cute name!). They are re-usable, cloth nursing pads which get softer the more you launder them and DO NOT shrink! These have truly been lifesavers for me. They come in a variety of styles and thicknesses. 4 layer pads with or without lace, 5 layer pads and moisture guard pads which include a layer of terry backed polyurethane laminate. The laminate is porous and thus allows moisture and air to evaporate through. I love the fact that I am helping the environment, saving money and supporting a home-based business.

After testing these pads I preferred the moisture guard for my heavy leaking needs. They are thicker than the 4 layer pads, however conform to the shape of your breast as the rest of the pads do. For women who don't leak as much or are nursing an older infant, the 4 layer pads would definitely be sufficient.

Oh I would love to win! I've been going through boxes of the lansinoh breast pads like CRAZY but they are the only ones that have worked for me -- without them I wake up in the morning in a cold puddle :)
Oh, and I suppose my colour preference would be cream ^_^

I would love to win the cream ones. I have such leaking issues and never found anything that I really liked. If I liked them for leaking purposes, it didn't seem to conform to my breasts.

I would like to win the cream ones. I spent so much in disposables with my last baby -- I'd love to try an alternative! Thanks for the giveaway. mybabyappleseed(at)yahoo(dot)ca
